July 28, 2004 — a strange riot involving man-eating zombies broke out in the town of Susukigahara, located in eastern Japan. It is said that this incident was caused by a virus secretly developed at an underground research facility.

This disaster was the result of the international organization Umbrella, and their use of humans as test subjects for the virus was exposed. However, all evidence was buried along with the town itself…

As for Nobita, Seina, Taro, and Jaian… they were arrested and temporarily detained by the security forces, but they seem to still be living fairly normal lives…

Four months have passed since that day. I know who caused all of this. But I won’t say it—I don’t want them to know.
